Pathcel Tart is a relatively unheard of Indie Musician who occasionally shares his music on the internet.
His most notable track is “Oyasame(?)”, a track that was composed for Artemis of the Blue, a relatively well known Indie Vtuber.
Between Pathcel’s old and new music, there’s a very clear difference between the both. Though a remarkable aspect about it is that they all retained the same identity and style that can be associated with the man.
From Chiptune to Elegant bossa, the history that entails his music is entertaining by itself to experience as a listener. From “Moonlight Soundbytes” to “Rain”, there’s a very clear difference between the both, but at the same time, you can clearly understand that both music are from the same person.
Pathcel’s music , although simple in composition, has a very consistent substance to it. Between his music and a regular jazz background playlist you can find on the internet composed by some pro-musician, Pathcel has a sense of originality that you’d only find in his music. There’s something about the slow moving, then quick dropping arpeggios that really gave off a particularly great feeling. Nostalgic, even.
And then there’s his older music which we would cover later in the thread.
If you’re looking for something to play idly in your background as you focus on doing something, Pathcel has you covered. Maybe you want to dance a little bit? Go for it man. Or maybe just sit back, relax, grab some tea, and enjoy some great music. It’s the kind of music that you’ll just find to be very pleasant, and the library Pathcel provides also has something else other than a jazzy and calm piano playing that makes you want to sleep. Go spend some time and go through his selections, perhaps you might find something you like!
Or maybe catch one of his streams if you ever have the chance. It’s always a pleasant experience to be part of it.

Pathcel, this man’s music is an experience, it’s something you need to listen to to feel it. His first song on soundcloud being, Wash is a good example of it, the whole song sounds nice, good tempo, pacing, and a relaxing composition, which would’ve hit all the marks if he intended the song to be a piece to relax to, so credits to that. Before I go into further, note that what I’m about to say is and will be said from a positive standpoint. The way the song Wash end is something I didn’t expect to hear upon first time listening to it, he ended the song by repeating the same portion of the song over and over again with a fade out effect, not to say that this is a non viable way to end the song, but did it surprise me upon my first time listening to it, from that moment on, I just knew that there’s something to his music and to him.
Next would be one of his chiptune song (Most of his older songs on sound cloud uses Watashi from Jinrui wa Suitai shimashita, good anime btw), which have a very scuffed compressed Watashi as the cover art, I don’t really understand why but just looking at it puts a smile on my face. The song too is as entertaining to me as the cover art, the way he composed this chiptune sounded like he created a piece that he does not like too much, and decided “Hey why not just compressed it into a 8 bit track” and that is exactly what the song sounds like, a nintendo gameboy cartridge, it might sound jagged to some people, but to me this is as good as any other of his releases.
Then there's the Digitanalogial clock, which like the name implies it sounds exactly what a song composed from electronic and actual instruments would sound like. It has the sharp noise that 8 bit songs have that people like a lot, something like the phrase “you can hear the pixels”, all while having smooth sounding instruments accompany it, which through his amazing brain, created a piece that has harmonized both of these together to make this…. Well Digitanalogial Clock, it is a beautiful piece in my opinion, Definitely his work that stands out to me the most.
His newer releases are mostly composed of jazz music, which took the natural turn if you consider his other works in the past, if you’re into jazz music for relaxation, he is definitely someone you should check out. If you’re not too into jazz, his older stuff might intrigue you like how it did to me.
